Golden Triangle Tours (Delhi-Agra-Jaipur)
Mystical and spiritual, confounding and chaotic, India overflows with riches. While staying at excellent hotels, discover the classic Golden Triangle: Delhi, the bustling capital; Agra, home of the sublime Taj Mahal; and Jaipur, one of the great cities of the Rajputs.

The tour brings an opportunity to view the country’s most spectacular historical monuments, verdant environs, magnificent palaces and splendid temples.  There are a number of companies offering customized ‘Golden Triangle Tours’.

The tours commence from Delhi, which is a unique amalgamation of cultures from around the country co-existing harmoniously for ages.  This city with a history of varied empires is embellished with awe-inspiring historic monuments with diverse architecture.  The vibrant bazaars, amazing mosques, and elegant buildings can together bring an unforgettable experience even to a widely traveled tourist.

The next destination on this tour is the city of Taj Mahal - Agra.  This UNESCO World Heritage site is a mausoleum built by Shahjehan in the memory of his beloved and favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, fulfilling one of the promises that he made to her as she lay on her deathbed: To erect a monument to match her beauty.

The trip concludes with a visit to the celebrated ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur. With an assortment of distinctively coloured old edifices, the city is considered one of the best planned cities in the country. An exhilarating elephant ride up to the royal palace of Amber Fort, along with visits to the Hawa Mahal and City Palace are among the best features of the tour.
